royal heights resort was a delightful surprise during our recent visit to malia. the staff was incredibly friendly, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the views from the pools and restaurant were stunning. highly recommend 

Wow!! Best hotel in crete,, we have been going to crete for 10 years now and had come to accept basic hotels as standard, anyone that goes to Crete will know what I mean,(the greeks have a tendency to rate there own hotels,ie;there 4 stars are more like

The staff is so kind and friendly!!!! He helped us always we need. The breakfast was wonderful. The cook made us egg plate as we like. The room was so very clean and view was fantastic!

The rooms are very confortable and spacious. The views on the top of the mountain over Malia are great.

The noise until very late when there are marriages on the pool area is not good when you have small childreen. The Malia area is not so good since this is a place for noisy teenagers tehrefore the hotel is good for families but there is litle of interest outside the Hotel. You have to have a car.

The only drawback was the lack of a dedicated business center, which I needed for my work.

The best food in the island, the spa-pedicure is excellent!!!, quality service and helpful staff. We liked that we were in low season when there were few guests which means that relaxed and calm holidays are guaranteed!

the facilities are extraordinary and the staff extremely helpful. Breakfast is the biggest and most complete buffet I have ever seen!!

as it is on the hill overlooking Malia city, it is not within walkable distance from the beach... but besides this obvious point... great hotel.
